Privacy Policy

Lead & Scale Africa is a program of The Leadership Channel Institute (“we”, “us”). This page explains what personal information we collect when you visit this website or secure a seat, why we collect it, who it is shared with, and the choices you have. What we collect

• When you register: your first and last name, email address, WhatsApp number, country, where your business is today, your business name (optional), any promo or referral code you enter, and your agreement to our terms and to receive updates.
• When you pay: the amount, currency, date and payment reference. Your card, bank or mobile money details are entered on the secure page of Paystack or Stripe. They never reach our servers and we never see or store them.
• Automatically: basic technical information needed to run and protect the site, such as your IP address and browser type in server logs, and anonymous visit statistics if we have switched on analytics (see Cookies below).

Why we use it

• To take your payment, confirm your seat and give you access to the program (Telegram channel, Institute platform and your welcome page).
• To send your receipt, welcome email, calendar file and reminders about your seat and the live sessions.
• To send class updates by WhatsApp, SMS and email, if you agreed to this at checkout. You can opt out at any time.
• To follow up if you started checkout but did not finish paying. We send at most one reminder email, and only if you agreed to updates.
• To prevent fraud and abuse, keep accurate financial records, and meet legal obligations.
• To understand which channels bring people to the program, using referral codes and anonymous statistics.

Who it is shared with

We do not sell your personal information. We share it only with the services that help us run the program, and only for that purpose:

• Paystack and Stripe, which process payments.
• Supabase, where registration records are stored.
• Resend, which delivers our emails.
• Telegram and the Institute program platform, where program access is provided.
• Forzi AI, our program partner. Where activating your Forzi AI infrastructure requires it, we share your name and email with them for that purpose only.
• Professional advisers, regulators or law enforcement, where the law requires it.

Some of these providers are based outside your country. Where that happens, we rely on providers that protect personal information to a recognised standard.

How long we keep it

We keep registration and payment records for as long as we need them to run the program, answer questions about your seat, and meet accounting and legal requirements. After that we delete or anonymise them.

Your choices and rights

You can ask us to give you a copy of your information, correct it, or delete it, and you can object to or withdraw your consent for how we use it, including updates by WhatsApp, SMS or email. Email hello@leadandscalenow.com from the address you registered with and we will respond within 30 days. Depending on where you live, you may also have rights under laws such as Nigeria’s Data Protection Act, Ghana’s Data Protection Act, Kenya’s Data Protection Act, South Africa’s POPIA, Rwanda’s data protection law, or the GDPR, and you may complain to your local data protection authority.

Cookies and similar technology

The site uses only what it needs to work: your browser remembers your chosen country and your private access link on your own device. If you sign in as an administrator, a secure session cookie is used for that.

We may also use privacy-friendly analytics that do not use cookies. If we run ads, we may load a Meta marketing cookie to measure them, but only after you accept it in the notice shown on the site. You can decline, and you can change your mind by clearing this site’s data in your browser.

Security

We protect information with encrypted connections, restricted access to our records, and a payment provider that handles card data to industry standards. No system is perfectly secure, so please keep your welcome link private.

Children

The program is intended for adults aged 18 and over. We do not knowingly collect information from children.

Changes

If we change this policy, we will update the date at the top of this page.
