Ambassador Terms

These terms apply when you apply to be, or act as, an ambassador for Lead & Scale Africa, a program of The Leadership Channel Institute (“we”, “us”). By applying, or by opening your ambassador link or dashboard, you confirm that you have read and agree to them, and to our Privacy Policy. If you are also a participant, our Terms and Refund Policy apply to your own seat as well.

Who can be an ambassador

• Anyone aged 18 or over can apply on the ambassador page. We review every application and may approve or decline it. Your link starts working only when we approve you.
• If you have paid for a seat, you do not need to apply. Once your payment is confirmed you can get your own link from your welcome page.
• Give us accurate details and keep them up to date. You sign in with a single-use link sent to your email address, so keep your email account and those links private. You are responsible for what happens under your account.

How you earn

• You earn a percentage of the price the buyer pays for a seat, in the currency they paid in. Your rate is in your approval email and on your dashboard.
• A seat is credited to you when the buyer opens your link, or enters your code, and then pays. A buyer enters one code at checkout: if they use a different code, including a promo code, the seat is not credited to you.
• Your link gives the buyer no discount. Promo codes are separate and work as they always have.
• Commission counts once the buyer’s payment is confirmed. It is never converted between currencies, so you may be owed amounts in more than one currency.
• Each person’s commission is worked out at the rate that applied when they signed up. If we change your rate, the new rate applies only to people who sign up after the change.

When you do not earn

• On a seat you buy for yourself, or arrange to be bought for you under another name or email address.
• On a seat that is not paid, whose payment fails, or that is refunded.
• On people who sign up before you are approved, or while your link is paused.
• On seats that were brought in by breaking these terms, for example by misleading the buyer.

Refunds

A buyer can be refunded under our Refund Policy. A refunded seat earns no commission. If we have already paid you commission on a seat that is then refunded, that amount is deducted from your next payout, and your dashboard shows it. If there is not enough owed to you to cover it, we may ask you to repay the difference.

Payouts

• Payouts happen every two weeks. Your dashboard shows the next payout day.
• On a payout day we pay what your dashboard shows as owed: the commission you have earned, less anything we have already paid you and any deduction described above.
• We send the money ourselves, by bank transfer or a similar method, and then record the payout, which emails you and updates your dashboard. We will contact you on the email address or WhatsApp number you gave us to arrange where to send it, so please reply promptly.
• We pay in the currency the commission was earned in, unless we agree another arrangement with you. Charges your own bank or wallet makes for receiving money are yours.
• You are responsible for any tax on what you earn. Where the law requires us to withhold or report tax on a payout, we will.

How you may promote the program

Share only accurate information about Lead & Scale Africa, as described on the program page. Say that results vary and that nothing is guaranteed. Where the law or a platform’s rules require it, make clear that you earn a commission when someone joins through your link.

You must not:

• promise or suggest any income, result, job or outcome, or invent or borrow testimonials;
• pretend to be us, the Institute, Wale Adekanla or Forzi AI, or say that we have endorsed you personally;
• mislead anyone about the price, the dates or the refund terms, or offer discounts, bonuses or refunds on our behalf;
• send unsolicited bulk messages, use fake accounts, bots or purchased traffic, or do anything to inflate visits or sign-ups;
• build look-alike websites or run ads that use our name, logo or web address, unless we have agreed to it first;
• promote the program alongside unlawful, hateful or adult content, or break the law or a platform’s rules about advertising and messaging.

The people you refer

Your dashboard shows, for each person who joined through you, their first name and the first letter of their surname, their country, the kind of seat, whether they paid, the date, and your commission. It never shows their email address or WhatsApp number, and you must not try to find them out through us. Please keep your dashboard private.

We keep your name, email address, WhatsApp number, country, your answer about how you will share the program, your sign-ins and your payout records so that we can run the program and pay you. The Privacy Policy explains how we handle them.

Your link and visit counts

When someone opens your link, their browser remembers your code for 30 days so that you are credited if they come back to pay later. We also count each browser once in that time as a visit. We store a number, nothing about the visitor. Visit counts are approximate and are not a promise of anything: you earn only when a buyer’s payment is confirmed. If you think a seat was credited wrongly or missed, tell us and we will look into it. Our records decide who was credited, unless we find a mistake.

Your relationship with us

You are an independent ambassador. You are not our employee, agent, partner or franchisee. You cannot speak for us, sign anything for us or make promises on our behalf. You pay your own costs of sharing the program, and there is no exclusivity either way.

Pausing and ending

• We may pause or end your status as an ambassador at any time, including if you break these terms. While your link is paused, new sign-ups through it are not credited.
• Commission you earned on seats paid before a pause or an end stays yours and is paid on the next payout, unless it came from breaking these terms or the seat is refunded.
• You can stop at any time by emailing us. If we end the program altogether, we pay you what you have earned.

No guarantee of earnings

Earnings depend on the seats your link brings in. No amount of money is guaranteed, there is no minimum, and being approved is not a promise that anyone will buy through your link.

Our responsibility

To the extent the law allows, we are not liable for indirect or business losses, including lost earnings, arising from the ambassador program, and our total liability for any claim is limited to the commission owed to you and not yet paid. Nothing here limits any right you have under the law that cannot be limited.

Changes

We may update these terms, and will change the date at the top of this page when we do. Changes apply from that date and do not take away commission you have already earned. If you do not agree to a change, stop sharing your link and tell us.
